Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of 2Cam ("the app"), operated by Codexia ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. What 2Cam Does

2Cam is a video recording app for iPhone. It records your front and back cameras at the same time and combines them into a single video, with a choice of layouts including picture-in-picture, split screen and an overlay that separates you from your background. Recordings are saved on your device.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use 2Cam. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the app only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

3. What You Record Is Your Responsibility

2Cam does not review, moderate, or receive your recordings — they stay on your device. You are entirely responsible for what you film and for what you do with it. By using the app you confirm that:

• You will obtain the consent of people you record where the law of your country requires it, and you will respect their wishes if they ask not to be filmed.
• You will not use the app to record people secretly, in private spaces, or in any situation where they have a reasonable expectation of privacy, if doing so is unlawful where you are.
• You will not use the app to harass, intimidate, defame, or endanger anyone, or to record anything that is illegal to record where you are.
• You will not record in places where filming is prohibited, and you will follow local laws on recording audio, which can be stricter than the laws on recording video.

Recording laws differ significantly from country to country and from state to state. It is your responsibility to know and follow the rules that apply to you.

4. Free and Premium

2Cam can be used free of charge, with some limits, or with a premium subscription that removes them.

• The free version includes the Normal, Front + Back, Split Screen and Portrait + Landscape recording modes, resolutions up to 1080p, the camera controls, the in-app gallery and sharing. Individual recordings are limited to two minutes and carry a 2Cam watermark.
• Premium removes the two-minute recording limit and the watermark, and unlocks Overlay mode, the teleprompter, and 4K recording on devices that support it.

We may change what is included in each tier over time, for example by adding new features to premium or making a premium feature free for a period.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

• Pricing and the available plans are shown in the app before you purchase. Prices may vary by country and may change over time.
• Purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Canceling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period.
• If you reinstall the app or move to a new device, use Restore Purchases in the app's Settings to recover premium access.
• Refund requests are handled by Apple under the App Store's refund policy. We are not able to issue App Store refunds directly.

6. Device Requirements & Performance

Recording two cameras at once is demanding on your iPhone. You should understand and accept the following:

• Simultaneous dual-camera recording requires a supported iPhone. Which combinations of resolution and frame rate are available depends on your device, and 2Cam shows only the options your iPhone actually supports in dual-camera mode. Not every iPhone can record two cameras in 4K.
• Extended recording — especially at high resolutions or in Overlay mode — uses significant battery and can make your device warm. iOS may reduce performance to protect your device.
• Recordings can be large files. It is your responsibility to keep enough free storage on your device.
• We do not guarantee that any particular feature, mode, or quality setting will be available on your device or at all times.

7. Your Recordings Are Not Backed Up

Recordings live inside the app on your device. They are not uploaded to us and we hold no copy of them. If you delete the app, reset your device, or lose it, any recording you have not saved to your Photos library or shared elsewhere is gone, and we cannot recover it for you. Save what matters to you.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to bypass the free-tier limits, remove the watermark other than by subscribing, tamper with the app, or access our systems without authorization.
• Use our in-app support to send abusive, threatening, or unlawful messages, or to submit content that is not a genuine support request.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app's source code.
• Resell or redistribute access to the app.

We may suspend or terminate access for users who violate these rules.

9. Intellectual Property

You keep full ownership of everything you record with 2Cam. We claim no rights over your videos or photos and, since they never leave your device, we hold no copy of them.

The app itself — including its name, design, and software — remains our property and may not be copied or reused without permission.

10. Third-Party Services

2Cam relies on third-party services to operate, including Google Firebase for anonymous accounts, analytics and notifications, RevenueCat for subscription management, and Apple for billing. Your use of the app is also subject to their terms. See our Privacy Policy for what each service processes.

11. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that a recording will always complete successfully.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any loss of recordings or missed footage. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or discontinue the app, or any part of it, at any time. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will make reasonable efforts to give notice.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
